Telar’s commitments reflect our core values and guide our daily actions, always grounded in ethics, quality, and responsibility. This approach is part of our organizational culture and supports the trust we’ve built throughout our history.
We are committed to the health, safety, and well-being of all employees. We ensure that all our activities are carried out in a manner that establishes a safe and healthy work environment, in compliance with the regulatory standards of the Ministry of Labor and Employment, as outlined in the integrated quality management policy signed by TELAR Engenharia.
In light of the current scenario, where initiatives to prevent the spread of the novel coronavirus are essential to protect everyone’s health and well-being, we engaged the consulting services of Hospital Sírio-Libanês to support our efforts to ensure the safety of our team members, both on construction sites and at the company’s headquarters.
Among the initiatives developed with the support and validation of Sírio-Libanês are activity protocols, daily health monitoring of employees, and regular meetings to implement and track actions related to the corporate health program.
Ethics is the core of TELAR Engenharia. Its public conduct is guided by principles of responsibility and commitment. From this consistently recognized corporate ethics comes the genuine engagement of the people who work within the company. This ethical approach reflects our organizational culture.
In addition, our Corporate Governance is anchored in universal principles, such as compliance with the legal frameworks of the countries where TELAR Engenharia operates, transparency and accuracy in the information provided by the company, responsibility in service delivery, commitment to performance maximization — ensuring the continuity of its activities — and respect for all who interact with the company, including shareholders, professionals, employees, clients, suppliers, and the community as a whole.
We recognize our role in contributing to a fairer society, with less inequality and no discrimination against women in the workplace. In this context, TELAR Engenharia not only fully complies with applicable regulations — a practice embedded in the company since its foundation — but also expands its Gender Equity Policy, a guiding framework developed for all employees.
Our commitment is to make this practice part of our culture and extend it throughout our network of relationships, contributing to a more just and equitable society.
TELAR Engenharia is committed to environmental protection, taking into account the impacts of climate change on our activities, products, and services. To this end, we adopt a proactive approach to mitigating risks and exploring opportunities related to climate change, aligning with the guidelines of applicable ISO standards. This commitment is established through documented programs for:
Waste management that ensures proper handling, storage, and disposal, preventing environmental harm and complying with current legislation.
Monitoring of atmospheric emissions through periodic fleet maintenance, reducing the impact caused by diesel-powered vehicles and machinery.
Application of environmental management guidelines both at the head office and construction sites, promoting a sustainable organizational culture.
Implementation of selective waste collection and awareness actions, encouraging the practice as both an environmental responsibility and an act of citizenship.
At Telar Engenharia, quality and technology are strategic pillars that support our operations across all areas. Our commitment is to ensure excellence in the delivery of services and projects, with technical rigor, efficiency, and attention to the expectations of clients and partners.
To achieve this, we adopt continuous improvement practices, invest in team development, incorporate innovations, and apply cutting-edge technologies that optimize processes and raise performance standards. We pursue smart, safe, and sustainable solutions aligned with market demands and the challenges of modern engineering.
Throughout our journey, we have built a culture of responsibility, innovation, and results-oriented thinking. This combination strengthens the trust we’ve earned and reaffirms our commitment to technical evolution and value delivery in every project.
Telar Engenharia supports initiatives focused on health, education, and well-being, reaffirming its social commitment. Among the programs promoted by the company, the following stand out:
Always attentive to people, TELAR devised an innovative way to create a virtuous cycle of support. All institutional portfolios are accompanied by pre-stamped envelopes. If clients or partners choose not to keep them, these materials can be sent to partner institutions, where TELAR buys them back — helping to promote social development and impact. We established a partnership with ITACI, making a significant contribution to the care and treatment of children.
ITACI – Instituto de Tratamento do Câncer Infantil (Institute for the Treatment of Childhood Cancer) is a public hospital linked to the Children’s Institute of the Hospital das Clínicas at the University of São Paulo’s Medical School. Its founding in 1999 was the result of a major collective effort and a partnership among the Fundação Criança, ASCCI (Solidarity Action Against Childhood Cancer), and the Children’s Institute. Today, ITACI is part of one of the country’s most important healthcare complexes, which also includes a research center, the USP Medical School, and over 20 pediatric medical specialties. Care is provided free of charge, and most patients are referred by the SUS (Brazil’s Unified Health System).
ITACI is a national reference center for children and adolescents with cancer, hematologic diseases, and rare conditions. It also stands out for caring for patients who are no longer eligible for therapeutic treatment in other hospitals due to the advanced stage of their illnesses.
TELAR, a family-owned company founded over 55 years ago by a Polytechnic School engineer and now in its third generation of engineers from the same family and alma mater, found a meaningful way to give back to the POLYTECHNIC SCHOOL OF USP.
Donations are made to support the continued studies of POLI students through the AEP SCHOLARSHIP AND MENTORING PROGRAM, providing assistance with housing, food, and school supplies.
AEP – THE ASSOCIATION OF ALUMNI OF THE POLYTECHNIC SCHOOL OF THE UNIVERSITY OF SÃO PAULO promotes a financial aid and mentoring program dedicated to first- and second-year POLI students who face proven socioeconomic vulnerability.
Through these donations, TELAR aims to sustain another virtuous circle — one that addresses a vital cause and contributes to society by promoting access to quality education.
